Shorinji Kempo in PON XVIII

Pekan Olahraga Nasional (National Sport Games) is a major multi-sport event in Indonesia and held every 4 years as the benchmark of Indonesian athletes achievement.
The PON XVIII will be held in Pekanbaru, Riau Province on September 9-20, 2012
participated by 33 provincial sport committee and 43 sports in Indonesia.
President of the Republic of Indonesia, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono will officially open the PON XVIII on September 11, 2012.
Shorinji Kempo match in PON XVIII will be followed by 25 provincial branches in Indonesia to fight for 14 number games. Shorinji Kempo match will take place from 15-19 September 2012 in Siak Sport Hall.
The winners of  this PONXVIII will be candidates of Islamic Solidarity Games 2013 in Indonesia and the Sea Games XXVII, 2013 in Myanmar.
